The Third Annual 30A 10K & 1 Mile Fun Run will take place in Rosemary Beach, Fla. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27. The fast & flat, out-and-back course route is designed for running enthusiasts looking for a great race to set a personal record or families that want to start a new, fun tradition on Thanksgiving Day morning. All event proceeds benefit local non-profit groups Donations 4 Danny, Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and Shelter House – Domestic and Sexual Violence Center. Registration is $75 for the 10K and $35 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. The 10K portion of the event is the official 2014 Florida Championship 10K race for the Road Runners Club of America and is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier with certification #FL12097EBM. Watersound Origins^SM, located off Highway 98 just north of Scenic Highway 30A, will the host of this year’s fun-filled “registration packet pickup” party on Wednesday, Nov. 26 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
